Not to be confused with apeirongender
Apeirogender is a xenogender in which someone feels that their gender is so complex and abstract that it cannot be defined in any way. Instead of having a strong understanding of their gender, an apeirogender individual may feel like their entire gender is a lexical gap.
History
The term apeirogender was coined by an anonymous on the 11th of March 2021 along with the flag.
Etymology
The term apeirogender is derived from the Ancient Greek word Aperion (ἄπειρον) meaning (that which is) unlimited, boundless, infinite or indefinite.
Flag
The flag was designed by an anonymous user on the 11th of March 2021. The white represents what you get if you combine all colours, representing the infinity of this gender, the purple represents mystery, nodding to the fact that one's gender isn't entirely known to the individual and the black represents the darkness which hides one's gender.
