Amphion or Dionian is a term and identity for those who are attracted to multiple sexes and genders. One does not have to be exclusively attracted to both binary genders and be binsexual , however, they have to be attracted to both binary genders or regardless of if they are a binary gender (pansexual).

It does not include those who are attracted to one binary and non-binary gender. However, anyone who is attracted to multiple genders is still spec and can instead use the word pluralian or plurian to describe their attraction..Not all bisexuals are amphion, since some have different sexual or romantic preferences. However, all amphions/dionians are bisexual.

    History

Amphion was coined by Pillowfort user ArtisticallyCosmatic on January 18th, 2022, out of a need for a non umbrella term to describe multisexual attraction and a focus to be more inclusive to other M-Spec people and asexuals.
