Alolagender is a xenogender where ones gender is strongly influenced by or is connected to the Pokemon region Alola, Alolan Pokemon, characters from Alola or the story of the generation 7 games, due to neurodivergency.
Similar terms include Kantogender, Johtogender, Hoenngender, Sinnohgender, Unovagender, Kalosgender and Galargender.
History & Flag
Alolagender was coined on December 13, 2020 by twitter user miracIemask. The flag was created at the same time. It is said to have been inspired by the Tapus, who are Legendary Pokemon said to guard the islands Alola is made out of.
