CoerAeris (previously known as Copa and Coer) is one of the base metals from the alloy alignment system based on copper. It represents a gender that is, to some degree, non-binary in nature. It is described as being neither masculine or feminine but is not a neutral element (zin) or a lack of element (tian). How one expresses or experiences being non-binary is defined by them. A coer person can have any alignment or presentation.

The flag is based on the color of copper, and the symbol used is the alchemical symbol for Venus. It is the same as the female symbol, however this is entirely unrelated, as the symbol was historically used to represent copper in alchemy.
