The aemotional spectrum (or aemo-spec) is a term for those who experience little, fluctuating, and/or atypical emotional attraction, or those who only experience certain types of emotional attraction. An aemo-spec individual would be on the aplatonic spectrum, the analterous spectrum, the aromantic spectrum, the aqueerplatonic spectrum, etc.

The term was coined by Tumblr user mourningmogaicrew, June 4th, 2021.^[1]

The flag was created by FANDOM user AndleRandle on November 9th, 2021. The colors are taken from the aro-spec, apl-spec, and analt-spec flags.
