Usage

This is a template to set the current preferred archive domain. How To:

1. Archive the resource using https://archive.ph/
2. Once archived, go to Share and find the long link
3. Copy the text after the domain (everything after http://archive.today/)
4. Add the template and paste the text into the URL parameter.

To use a template, type {{ to bring up the Wikimedia UI, of which will request which template you would like to use. Ensure you fill in any optional arguments for the template creation.

Here's a List of Commonly Used Templates:

• Phonetically Similar Names

• Candidates For Deletion (also adds the Candidate For Deletion category)
• Unverified Resources

These templates/categories are similar but have these distinct differences:

• Category:Needs_Resource_Verification - The resources have yet to be verified.
• Category:Pages_Without_Resources - There are no resources provided. Only legacy pages will be added to this category, and may be candidates for deletion.
• Category:Pages_With_No_External_Sources - Was coined on an LGBTQIA+ wiki.
• Category:Pages_With_No_History_Section - Lacks a history section.
