Kenosgender is a gender identity that is in the neutral spectrum and/or the agender spectrum. It can be described as a gender being connected with emptiness, a gender being or being connected to a blank open space and/or a gender being open. It's similar to gendervoid and genderblank.
It can be a term on it's own or it can be combined to create other terms such as kenosfemme, kenosmasc, kenosneutral, etc.
History and Flag
The term kenosgender and the kenosgender flag were created by Nosmomo in June 2021. The colors meaning of the kenosgender flag are as follows: white represents emptiness and the blank space, black represents the connection to non-binary genders and the agender spectrum and gray represents the openness of the gender, that's also the reason the gray line is in the middle.
Etymology
The term kenosgender is derived from the Ancient Greek word "κενός" meaning empty or void. So kenosgender literally means "empty gender" or "voidgender" because of it's relation to emptiness.
